At what intervals can Only Touch be repeated?

Unlike Easy TCA, Only Touch is a strong acid composed of more than 40% TCA weight for weight following reconstitution of the solutions. It certainly cannot be used in the same way as Easy TCA.

In the 1st issue of FOCUS (see www.estetik.com/focus/) we saw why Only Touch must be applied before Easy TCA and why these two peelings must always be used together.

First, apply Only Touch to the hyperchromic or hyperkeratosic lesion. The touching action must be fast, without pressure (just like touching computer keys). Then, leave the product to act for a few minutes, letting it dry on the skin. When the Only Touch solution has dried, a whitening of the zone touched should be visible. If there is a total absence of whitening, apply Only Touch again. When whitening occurs, even if it is only partial, do not apply Only Touch again.

Once Only Touch has dried thoroughly and whitening has appeared, Easy TCA will have to be applied over the entire region, including the area where Only Touch has been used

    This constitutes the first treatment

Two sessions of Easy TCA must then be carried out without using Only Touch. Remember that the time interval between two Easy TCAs on the face is one week, while for zones other than the face it is 10-15 days.

This brings us to the fourth application of Easy TCA, and now is the time for retouching the blemishes or hyperkeratosis that resisted the first treatment, just before applying the 4th Easy TCA.

Spreading the Only Touch treatment over two sessions allows one to avoid a great deal of the side-effects that are frequent after using a strong TCA. In other words, the results will be similar whether partial whitening is obtained in two sessions or deeper, uniform whitening is obtained in one session, but there are fewer side-effects in the former.
