How to apply Only Touch Peel correctly?

  • Diagnosis

Doctors should treat all facial lesions with the necessary care and professionalism.

  • Applying OTP

Use a cotton bud that is not very soaked in the OTP solution, touch the lesion as swiftly as if dialling a telephone. The acid should be applied specifically on the lesion, not on the healthy skin that surrounds it. Contact time between lesion and applicator should be very short. Obtaining complete frosting of the treated lesion is not recommended: partial frosting is sufficient (see lateral photograph).

On some occasions, various layers of OTP are needed to obtain said partial frosting. Ensure each layer has dried completely (minimum 5 minutes) before applying the following one.

  • Combine with Easy TCA, in order to achieve uniform results.
    Remember
Protein coagulation after applying OTP would not be permeable to Easy TCA solution,
which would only penetrate around the lesions treated with OTP
  • Avoid applying the substance too deeply:
excessive contact time between cotton bud and skin could produce such a protein coagulation that skin would seem frozen. This type of application should be avoided in all cases. Without a doubt, it is preferable to repeat two superficial applications –i.e., until obtaining a partial frosting of skin– instead of penetrating OTP’s action dangerously. Ideally, the first OTP should be carried out precisely before the first Easy TCA, whilst the second OTP, if necessary, should be carried out before the fourth Easy TCA.
  • Avoid pigmentary rebounds by using the Skin Tech Bleaching + Blending cream as soon as scabs disappear. In the morning, the cream should be applied on the whole of the treated area. At night it shall be applied locally, simply on the lesions treated with OTP.
