I have not obtained the expected liquefaction
after the 24-hour occlusion when treating stretch marks
Obtaining liquefaction depends on 3
factors:
- Depth of the abrasion
, which should
simply touch the apex of the "highest" dermic papillas.
- Patient feels a higher degree of pain.
- The first blood spot ( like a dot ) appears.
- Positive "keratinocytary touch".
For further information, check the technical booklet.
- Applying the acid solution should produce a uniform pink-white frosting. One, two or
three crossed layers may be necessary. Ensure the last layer has dried completely before
applying the following one.
- Occlusion time
should be quite long:
generally, 12-hour occlusion produces none or very little liquefaction, however 24-hour
occlusion usually produces this result.
If liquefaction does not occur after 24 hours, we must consider that one of the other
parameters stated above has not been respected adequately.
